Fun with My Boys..Inside PhotoShoot

The weather today was predicted to be blah...and ended up being blah but on the hot, hot, hot side, not the dark gloomy rainy side. So my boys and I got a little silly, and created a "studio" in the house to snap some pictures. It was actually pretty simple. I didn't get any shots of the set up, but all I did was take some wrapping paper and tape it to the wall, then I took down one of the curtains in the boys room that coordinated, and draped it on the floor, and started snapping away!

B is 3 months!

It's been a 3 crazy months! Time is just flying by! I guess the fact that it's summer vacation doesn't help much. Brennan is growing everyday emotionally, physically, and mentally. I could eat up his cheeks all day long.

Here is his growth thus far..as his mommy I don't think that there has been huge changes:

Here are both boys at 3 months...I see small similarities in them, but the bigger Brenna gets the more I feel they look alike:)

At 3 months, Brennen:

Weighs 15 pounds!

Is wearing all 3 months and some 6 month cloths.

Has move dup to a size 2 diaper.

Nurses about every 3 hours during the day.

Smiles All day...except when I take out my phone or camera...like he only wants us to see!

Will sleep 7-8 hour stretches at night.

Is rolling over...back to belly.

 Grabs at and for toys and objects.

Mommy loves you so much sweet Brennan. You are so laid back, and calm. Everyone comments on what a great baby you are, and we have to agree. We are so blessed to have you in our family.

My Silly Ian

Ian has kinda been MIA from here lately at least I feel that way because Brennan is such the center of attention..but don't let it fool you that I haven't been writing about him because he is still my silly boy full of love and life posing for my camera! Since all the photos I've been taking of Brennan he got a little jealous one afternoon and this was the result:

We have also been hiking lots! Ian seems to love it, Brennan sleeps, and Mr. and I get some peace and exercise!

Ian is such a great big brother who is always willing to help out in anyway he can. He loves letting his brother hold his hand, gives him kisses, tell him it's gonna be alright, sings you are my sunshine, shares his toys, and makes him smile! I love this boy to pieces, and to the moon and back of course!

Mr.'s Parents Visit

After my family finally left we had a week break and then Mr.'s parents came for 2 weeks. The second week I returned to work and they stayed with the kiddos. We all had a great time! It was so nice to come home and have a meal cooked everyday. If I ever win the lottery that is one thing I will have for sure!

B is Two Months!

  I can't believe that Brennan is already 2 months old. It seems like a few days ago I was on my way to the hospital delivering him in record time! His presence in our family melts all our hearts and although we would love a she lil' Murphy, I think he is the perfect end to our family making us complete. He has started to smile at me and my voice, and always at his brother, his smile takes up his whole face, and I believe will be one of his best qualities in the future!

At 2 months old, Brennan:

• Weighs 13 pounds!
• Is starting to wear some 3 month sizes, ok almost all.
• Wears a size 1 diaper, but not for long.
• Nurses about every 3 hours during the day.
• Smiles Big to the sounds of my voice, and always to his brother silliness.
• Will sleep 6-8 hour stretches at night.
• Loves tummy time, and getting baths.

I know what your thinking, and no this is not his first bath in 6 weeks..it's just been crazy around here, and I am backed up with blogging topics! Unlike Ian who hated his first bath, and many after that Brennan loved it, and still does. He is such an easy going, fun loving little guy. I can't wait for his personality to roll out as the days go on!

I live in Metro Atlanta with my husband who I refer to as Mr. in my posting, and two little boys- Ian {2.5 years}, and Brennan {6 weeks}. I currently teach 3rd grade and will be moving to 5th next year, I have been teaching for 9 years and love it, I also have a small photography business, Yes M'AM Photography!

Ian is all boy aside from when he asks for random pink things far too often, the biggest goof, best big brother, full of life, curiosity, manners, and laughter! Brennan is discovering the world around him, and I am quite sure is annoyed that his big brother tells him he loves him, and kisses him about 10,000 times a day.

Mr. and I are adjusting to life as four, and love every minute of it. We are truly blessed with each other, and our boys. We love going hiking, traveling, the beach, a good glass or wine, and most importantly visiting with friends and family! I blog about my boys, teaching, photography, food, life, a little bit of everything, but mostly my boys! I hope you enjoy, and come back to read often!

Family Time

After Brennan was born we were bombarded blessed with visits from my sisters family, and then my parents! When Ian was born we had no visitors for about 6 weeks...however with Bren visitors arrived 4 days after we got home from the hospital. It was a bit crazy at times, relaxing at times, but most of all I am blessed by my family, and the relationships we have with one another! I am going to post a picture dump of some of our "Family Time"!
